After I have the vehicle as clean as possible from washing I'll begin the decontamination process. I'll start by spraying each panel with an iron remover that breaks down any railroad or brake dust that has embedded itself into the paint. After I rinse the iron remover I begin claying the paint and glass which removes any leftover contaminants the iron remover didn't get. I'll dry the vehicle one more time and begin the paint correction which is basically machine polishing the paint to remove any fine scratches, swirls, scuffs and water spots. Depending on the condition of the paint it may just need a light polish if it's in good condition or a compound and polish to remove heavier defects.

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) mixed with silicone and paraffin creates a very strong protective coating. Each one of these three main ingredients are incredibly resistant to chemicals, UV rays from the sun, oxidizers, external contaminates, heat and water spots. A single layer of ptfe can lasts up to 5 years with proper maintenance. PTFE creates a very slick, glossy and extremely hydrophobic surface. Your vehicle will be easier to clean and stay clean longer. PTFE can be applied to all surfaces including paint, glass, wheels, trim and interior.
